Bookvember Day 15:

I've already said something about "Discovery of Witches" so today? Uh...again, so many to choose from in #urbanfantasy. My pick would be "Clean Sweep" by Ilona Andrews, the first in the Innkeeper Chronicles series. It's fun and fast-paced.

I always say one needs to learn the Latin binomials of herbs to avoid the confusion of common names. This book lists the herbs by Latin binomial. I did include a cheat sheet, though. No homework! 😉

Runes and Tarot are similar in that they offer guidance. Where I’ve seen a difference: Runes don’t go into quite as much depth as Tarot, forcing you to ponder and figure things out for yourself a little more. Since I suck at reading cards, I'm obliged to *think* about the message!

Convincing you to read my novel by sharing the first sentence. (Or...first couple of paragraphs.) Share yours if you want.

What herbs might you use in a handmade soap for the winter season? Sage, mint, rosemary, thyme, lavender, eucalyptus, and more make great choices. #herbs

They said we might get snow & they weren’t wrong! Supposed to get another dose this afternoon. We’ll see if they’re right on that.

I am LMAO. I *suppose* a book about poisonous plants might have gripping tension and some do indeed cause tachycardia but… AI ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, is it? 🤣🤣

Historical fantasy is a category of fantasy & genre of historical fiction that incorporates fantastic elements into a more "realistic" narrative. There is much crossover w/other subgenres of fantasy. It's one of my favorite genres to read. #fantasy #HistoricalFantasy

I just trimmed the rosemary in preparation for its winter cover. Everything smells divine right now, then there’s the aromatic kindling for the fireplace after it dries! #herbs

They’re a couple of weeks late, but it’s now officially fall. The lady beetles are swarming. Soon, the living room ceiling will look like it has the pox for about 4 months.

Herbal medicine has again come to the forefront of the public’s mind. Without research, many think that #herbs are safe. Many are, yet many can be just as deadly as a dose of arsenic. Read about 95 of them here: https://mybook.to/Baneful
