I looked outside as the Moon (very top of image) caught my eye and I noticed how many #layers could be seen reflected in and through the glass of the door. It inspired deeper reflection into #reality and #perception and what is f*ing #REAL. The only thing I changed was the size of the image. #trippy
A glimpse through a door where the reflections from the warm interior mingle with the views of both the rising Full Moon at the very top, down to the snow laden ground where trees still lay bent to the ground from the weight of it. Light from both the interior and the Moon are reflected in the huge icicles hanging outside above the door.

Really #Grateful today to have electricity when many don't. Big, wet 1st Winter storm w/4-5" snow bending trees over. Will need to clear the path later but thankfully nowhere to be so can dig the car out later. #Nature can humble one. 🌬️❄️☃️

I went for a walk late this afternoon to clear my head and heart and looked up to see this image. It was so evocative of the #ShadowWork I was processing. Both shadows hold #illusion and #truth and facing what is real, no matter how painful, is the way to move forward, Shadow shifting with movement.

I've been trying to figure out why I hesitate to share home-cooking ideas. I'm old enough to remember when #ChickenWings used to be a 'secret' source of protein for people living in poverty. Until some rich fool decided they were a perfect sportsball food & now they cost more per lb than other cuts.

I have to limit my #DoomScrolling despite my desire to keep informed because I do not like feeling the hate that all of this bullshit starts to make me feel. I did not come into the world with hate; it was thrust upon me by experienced and #witnessed #cruelty and I REFUSE to let it harden me too.

One of the Most Beloved Sounds to me in this beautiful world is the sound of the leaves of the Trees known as Popples regionally, or more widely, as Quaking Aspen. The Wind decided to play with me and went quiet, so most of the sound is near the end.

For the last 5 days, I got to step away from 95% of electronics, emails, the "news", and social media. It was so I could spend time with long-missed beloved family and it helped salve some hurting parts in my Spirit. Tomorrow, I catch up to myself & start again, grateful for such an important break.
