Morning. Intermittent responder here…builders cut WiFi so no service for a while (temporary one eventually helped for a few days) but now fixed. Teens were distraught 😫. Now escaped from chaos…no cooking in makeshift kitchen for two weeks, sun, sand, food, sightseeing & a few of these 🍹
😊😊😊

Morning! It’s a beautiful morning here - and more warm weather incoming (why always during exam season?) Looking at kitchens today: decisions, decisions. Supporting angsty teens and tense sporting event later on 😬
Pic from last weekend - hopefully see more cherry blossom on my travels today 🌸

Trump has ‘moral clarity’ according to Rubio - that must be what he wants to demonstrate when he threatens the Palestinian people, removes help for Ukraine and threatens democratic countries with annexation and take over.

#TenMinuteReadingClub My ten minutes came to an abrupt end as page 35 was followed by page 103…then reverts back to page 87 after 50 or so pages. Big chunk missing! Aaaargh!

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed the sign post itself but Glen Etive is really beautiful & definitely worth visiting! My favourite sign (the only one I have ever really had cause to remember as for some reason I found it hilarious when I first saw it) is ‘Stromeferry (no ferry)’. Helpful clarification.

Serendipity - the post I saw immediately under yours was quite fitting

When something’s a complete rip off in future, I hope we can all unite in saying ‘it’s a Willy Wonka Experience’…how anyone had the hubris (or just plain cheek) to set this up and charge a family of 4 over £100 for the pleasure….🤯

Interesting You Gov poll spotted on Twitter asking what you felt was the last ‘normal’ year. Depends whether you’re thinking economically, personally, Brexit or Covid... And actually is any year ‘normal’? I have several answers!

My son went by himself to get his hair cut at a barber’s rather than usual hairdresser (cost £12). Was £18 the last time he went for walk-in cut; yesterday £25! It’s the most horrendous cut he’s had too. Much of his head completely shaved - not what he asked for. Asked if he could stay home today 😳

Checking when 12th night is to take down decorations/avoid bad luck, I read that if you don’t take them down in time then you need to leave them up all year (to avoid said bad luck). Seriously considering this as my decorating helper now has urgent studying to do & cannot be disturbed.

Apparently.
