What doesn’t make sense about the treaty between the #uk and #France is that it anticipates that certain #asylum seekers will cross the channel without a #visa and makes safe routes conditional on those journeys! Safe routes should be independent of irregular routes and not conditional upon them!

With #IranUnderAttack #IsraeliranWar , some nationals of both countries are stranded in the UK, and visas may have expired or due to expire; spouses being apart, I have written to the Home Secretary as the gov has not made any policy announcements about immigration control! Govmnt should act now.

#Liberaldemocrats like to increase #taxes; in #SurreyHeath this has led to decrease in footfall after #car #parking charges increased; worse than that,whilst #businesses have had less customers they have been burdened with higher #business rates and rent!This is not #politics;is #madness! #community

The opening ceremony of Guru Nanak #Gurdwara #Camberley highlighted the fact that British communities are diverse and Councils benefit from diversity officers. The #Reform Mayor’s decision to sack a #diversity officer to save money can come at a high cost in the future if communities are divided!

What a shame that the government is relaxing rules so that school playing fields can be sold! More residential homes at the expense of children’s well being? It’s a shame that in Surrey Heath, the Lib Dem led borough council marketed #community #assets for sale even when they didn’t have the power!
