A seat-back TV screen on a Delta flight. The screen is giving me the option to watch YouTube or “explore the world of anime” with Crunchyroll. There’s a lot, and I mean a LOT of anime you should not watch around other people or else you will look like a certified freakazoid. (Sword Art Online is for sure one of those.)

Two boards I made this past week 🫶🏻🫶🏻
A large wooden serving board, adorned with a spread consisting of a wheel of brie, a river of prosciutto, fanned out triangles of chimichurri Gouda, a pile of cubed Munster, a rose of Italian dry salami, a log of fig and honey goat cheese, a mound of Kerrygold aged cheddar, a bowl of castelvetrano olives, handfuls of candied pecans, bits of honeycomb, cherries, and a tiny jar of Mike’s Hot Honey. Out of frame are two small bowls of fig spread and whole grain mustard. A long, narrow stone slab serving board, filled to the brim with a crumbled togarashi cheese, crumbled aged Gouda, a sliced smoked goat cheese, a pile of prosciutto, a river of coppa, dried cherries, and two mini jams (one caramelized pear and honey, the other raspberry hibiscus).

On a plane that departed at 6am, all 25 rows of seats had their window shade down, except one. The people across the aisle had their shade WIDEEE open and I was getting absolutely blinded while they were conked out. Look at my pupil, it’s struggling against the full, concentrated power OF THE SUN!
