the president is not an elected sovereign. he does not speak for the people or embody their will, he merely represents them. if he wants to change the constitution, let him make his case.

the idea that a handful of conservative legal scholars have an understanding that should supersede a settlement affirmed my generations of american is astoundingly arrogant, and the idea that trump — or any president — can unilaterally overturn that settlement is just despotism

And then there's lighting, where now in most cases replacing a brand new incandescent bulb with a quality LED will pay for itself with energy savings within an incandescent bulb's lifetime. (But our first ones did require support, mainly from utility programs, to pencil out.)

The price difference of our EV versus its closest ICE equivalent would be easily recoverable from charging-at-home and expected maintenance cost savings even had we not had access to the tax credit (RIP).

what follows immediately after the birthright clause? the privileges and immunities and due process clauses? and what follows them? the equal protection clause. all of this is explicitly to say, "the declaration is the constitutional law of the land"
