One reason video games need to reject AI is the risk of losing the joy of human touch in small art details. My favorite example is the fake video games from the Toy Story level in Kingdom Hearts 3, designed by real video game artists. You can tell they had fun making these.

Every now and then I remember that Back To The Future The Video Game exists. Honestly a better attempt at a "part 4" than a 4th movie would ever have given, and genuinely the best game made by Telltale imo.

Well, that's that. Sometimes a game is what you want and sometimes it isnt. At the end of the day, I can't complain too much because Metroid Dread WAS the perfect Metroid game I always wanted. I mean its 2D but I prefer the 2D metroids over the 3D ones anyways.

Also Im really annoyed that I ALMOST hit complete 100% in prime 4. 100% items, 100% green crystals... but 99% scans. just because I missed one fucking scan in the prologue of the game and you can never return to that part ugh. So I couldnt get the secret ending.

Okay, there. I finished Metroid Prime 4. Despite all its problems (and it has a ton), I still enjoyed it mostly. But its not at all what I personally want from a new Metroid Prime.
The game feels perfect to play, music is solid and visuals are beautiful. But the game forgets it's a metroid game.

Okay, there. I finished Metroid Prime 4. Despite all its problems (and it has a ton), I still enjoyed it mostly. But its not at all what I personally want from a new Metroid Prime.

So apparently I. Missed a fucking log book entry at the very beginning of metroid prime 4, despite scanning EVERYTHING (I swear I scanned that boss too) and it was in the prologue area so you can't go back to it. Only just realized this right when im about to hit 100% log book entries.
