Just as distressing to me as the people who say that science is all fake are the ones that say that science is indisputable and foolproof. I recently learned there's a word for that- scientism, in other words making a religion out of the foundation of science. Makes perfect sense

Everyone has blindspots, but some build whole personalities around hiding their own by attacking others. I've never heard a vegan announce their diet unprompted, but I've heard dozens of vegan jokes w the same punchline. Taxes are too expensive- but alcohol & gambling isn't?

"People need to stop calling everything xyz" stop. take stock of the totality. you don't know as much as you think you do about the details. xyz exists as a term because it happens frequently enough to be societally noticeable. maybe people need to stop calling everything fake
