the 'clubs' they mentioned are a thing that just does NOT exist anymore. I honestly think that's the biggest hole
like, clubs, or lj comms, or single-interest forums just do not exist. Today you toss fanart/discussion onto an open sea and pray other fans will see it and engage, and if not, too bad

I feel like all these "liveaction remakes" are just getting made because of the stigma that adults that shouldn't watch "childish" cartoons ,but since it's live action it's not shameful to watch. Even though some of these remakes are literally almost 1:1 with the animated counterpart.
welp, "live action" how to train your dragon made a lot of money, I'm sure this one will too, it's basically the same thing just more textures and occasionally people up close are visibly real actors

The Cadaver’s Tale~ Some concept designs I did for the animated cadaver & props/keyframe from @realgdt.bsky.social incredible FRANKENSTEIN! Also collaborating with Mike Hill who sculpted and made the puppet (and puppeteered it to life) with the final screen performance digitally augmented by MRXFX!
