This is the sarcastic content I go to Reddit for on a Friday evening. Beautifully done.

Whether TV, online or print media, why can marketers never represents gamers properly? Here's Amazon showing someone holding a games controller in a way that nobody would.

The argument I've heard about this all day, including on @lbc.co.uk this afternoon, is that "they're not all, white middle-aged men".

I'm very sure 100% are not but images from recent demonstrations would tend to suggest it's a tar brush worth using.

I love how having a female Silver Surfer in the new Fantastic Four movie is making certain people very angry.

A film where 3 out of the 4 Fantastic Four are male, Galactus is male, damn it, even Sue Storm gives birth to a boy.

Totally agree. But, boy, the comments he got. Kinda proved his point though.

I don’t know if layout was intentional at @waterstones.bsky.social Derby, but I appreciated it either way

I have so many questions about this ad on Reddit.

Where's their head?

How far into your butt does it go?

It's been 6 years since I first suggested it, but WordPress finally coming with a warning message, when you're typing in your password and your caps lock key is on, is getting closer to reality.

Just had this promoted post come up in my Reddit feed.

If anyone needs an example of an advert that tells you zero about the product, then this is it.

Part 2 of "things that Amazon Alexa has added inappropriate suggestions to". A bit rude to my nephew, if you ask me.
April 22, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Then there was that time when Alexa was very rude about my cats...

Yes, they deem it acceptable to now show you a range of "Spring favourites", all marked as one of your favourites, and none of them being products I've bought, let alone marked as a favourite.

This is a new level of devious, under-handed selling tactics that is totally unacceptable, imo.

Such a shame Sainsbury's can't be bothered to be on Bluesky and see this.

For some time I've been unhappy with the fact that you can mark products as "favourite" and, when viewing them, they occasionally throw in a "sponsored" item (see screenshot).
