I wonder why NATO did not opt for a sky shield with fighter jets, et al., in 2022. Plus, by now Ukraine could have built hundreds of nucelar bombs. The MAD threat would have stopped putin in his tracks.

Ukraine needs about 100 nuclear weapons with delivery systems. Tell putin if his troops cross the Dnieper then Moscow and St Petersburg, along with the top naval bases will be vaporized.
