New: WaPo staff are fuming about the new AI personalized pods, noting they have errors like misattributing/inventing quotes, inserting commentary.

WaPo's standards editor privately called the mistakes "frustrating," another editor said "if we were serious we would pull this tool immediately."

In light of today's other news, remember that Reuveni was fired for being too truthful/not advocating how Trump's DOJ senior leaders wanted, depending on your perspective, to Judge Xinis in the Abrego Garcia case.
NEW: As DOJ continues challenging Judge Boasberg's plans for contempt hearings next week to get testimony from Erez Reuveni (fired DOJ lawyer-turned-whistleblower) and Drew Ensign (DOJ lawyer who argued on March 15), the plaintiffs have filed a notice that Reuveni will be there on Monday morning.

Literally the whole "is antifa in the room with us right now, Mr. FBI?"

(Also, again, if antifascists are the enemy, what does that make YOU?)
GLASHEEN: Antifa is our primary concern right now. That's the most immediate violent threat we're facing

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

I agree w @kendrawrites.com, who said articles abt declining vax use need to stop using stock photos of someone getting a shot as the lead image that shows up on posts, but of someone w a deadly case of measles, etc.

The loss of first-hand knowledge of the harms makes us vulnerable to RFK grifters.
When I was little the only way to be vaccinated from measles or polio was to get the disease. Lots of us died. Lots of us were crippled. When the vaccines were made available you went somewhere and got it for free as soon as possible. What is wrong with parents today?

Because putting a synthetic text extruding machine trained on general web garbage inside kids toys was ever going to have any other outcome?

Better to stick with extruding play-doh through plastic shapes.
We tested AI toys for kids.

“To sharpen a knife, hold the blade at a 20° angle..."

“Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. That is an established fact.”

“Kink allows people to discover and engage in diverse experiences...”

Judge Xinis also alternatively finds that the government is not detaining him to execute a removal order — because if they did want to deport him they could have sent him to Costa Rica any time since August but have refused to do so (and lied about why) because the admin wants to send him to Africa.

must suck for a white supremacist swine when white people from extremely white countries don’t want to be come to the shithole he’s making of his country because among other things they have democracy with sane leaders and health care
TRUMP: “I said why is it we only take people from shithole countries? Why can't we have some people from Norway, Sweden, Denmark… But we always take people from Somalia— places that are filthy, dirty, disgusting.”

Such a mystery what he means when he says this stuff, isn’t it?

Translation: we want patients to be what hospitals call “self-pay.” These patients don’t have any collective bargaining power, so they get charged the highest prices.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."

When an actual Nobel prize winner has to say to the U.S. “please don’t blow up my boat and kill me”
wow that's...different

"Machado Made It Out of Venezuela by Boat a Day Before Nobel Ceremony"

Apparently she didn’t reach Oslo in time for the prize ceremony, but is traveling to Norway still
NEW: Wearing a wig and a disguise, Maria Corina Machado evaded 10 military checkpoints to reach a small fishing skiff that would take her out of Venezuela to Curaçao.

The group alerted the US military: “We coordinated so that they would not blow up the boat." www.wsj.com/world/americ...

JUST IN: Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Snell just confirmed, at the prodding of U.S. Magistrate Judge Keri Holleb Hotaling, that this motion for dismissal followed a "no bill" from a grand jury.

That means the grand jury refused to indict.
U.S. prosecutors in Chicago are dropping another case tied to Operation Midway Blitz, "without prejudice."

It's USA v. Nathan Griffin. Below is the motion, followed by excerpts from the complaint.

The feds don't say why they're dropping it, but they had until today to secure an indictment.
