At the same time I was regularly getting destroyed by the Taco Bell in Oklahoma City by my base, I was regularly eating Spicy Bulgogi from the good Korean place nearby that was VISIBLY RED with pepper flake, and that WASN’T destroying me. IDK what it was that the bell was doing!

Closer to the line in the southwest is also good; NM and AZ are definitely solid, in CA it’s great but it gets a more Baja-influenced, I think? Definitely the only other region I lived in that could compare to what I used to be able to get in Texas.

I do get it with Taco Bell, usually don’t with Chipotle and DEFINITELY don’t with real Mexican food. I don’t know what’s up with the bell but I don’t think it’s fiber, at least not for me.
