Half the outlets on the front wall of my house quit working suddenly. House was rewired 3 years ago, so that was concerning. “Bad neutral” connection error on the tester. Found one outlet with a loose neutral and another outlet with a poor connection that looks like it got hot. Fixed both. ✅

Got told at work today that leadership notified our county department that there are severe budget issues that would have far reaching 'consequences'. As the newest employee in my section, I'm a bit anxious for our all-hands meeting tomorrow.

Busy weekend. Replaced power steering hose on my son's Tahoe. Then replaced wood around the shop roll up door, fixed the roll up door seal, and cut/chipped concrete from under the door so when closed, it would sit a little lower than floor level. Gonna finish it next weekend.

For dinner, we tried out Joe's Place down in Bucoda. Been here for almost 4 years, and for some reason we hadn't yet tried it. Wish we wouldn't have waited so long. Great food and really warm and friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Who’s got fun plans for Labor Day weekend? My not-so-fun plan is to get caught back up on yard work and my shop repairs. Hoping to at least make some headway with this bum wrist.
