There’s no right way to approach society; just be kind, and flow together.

The endless ways that these kids will try to get ahold of your social media is insane.

Stay away from my badge you little stalker!

If you are a staff member at a HS that is wearing a shirt that says papi… you’re not cool, be professional… you’re a walking red flag…

Also, stop having such a close relationship with the middle school kids…

That’s the rant for today, thank you.

I saw a post saying that ICE is pausing its tip line, so I decided to call myself to verify.

The recorded voicemail said they are not currently accepting immigration status tips.

Good job, friends.

I think being a substitute teacher has killed any passion I had for teaching.

All I wanted to do was scope out new places to work and go back to school.

Now, I’d rather just take a nap.

What are the unique ways you combat burnout? Especially from a neurodivergent perspective. I don’t wanna hear what a psych would say, what do you do specifically.

Maybe we can use the comments to find new ideas because, sometimes just stopping the stressor, isn’t an option.

I spent 10 mins today petting a cat at Petco. I’m sorry I couldn’t adopt you Fern.

I feel so guilty for petting him and getting his hopes up 😭😭

Is it possible to make a book club, create a blue sky tab for it, and just let it grow?!? Is there one already ?

Pick your focus and stick with it. We cannot fight in all fronts or we will become overwhelmed. But we can all peel off a corner in our area of expertise and begin to reveal effective strategies for resisting the chaos. Every single one of us has something to offer.

You’re not weak because you don’t want to engage in politics 24/7. Read a book, go outside, read an essay.

Life still moves forward through good and bad, you’re allowed to enjoy life, despite what’s happening.

Take count of the things in life that bring joy.

All they had was hate; a rot that spread quickly. First the brain, what was left of it, conquered swiftly by that black mould. Next, the heart. A tougher muscle, but the rot was persistent. It wouldn't give up until every chamber and valve was oil slick with fears and angers.

I just posted my first Substack article, any feedback would be amazing!

It's about the impact of social media/ phones immediately after we open our eyes, the guilt that comes with wanting peace, and my own experience.

Does anyone have essay/article recommendations?

Think along the lines of psychology, science breakthroughs, social justice, analysis pieces.

*This can include books*

One of the things I miss the most about having steady work is just being able to help. So many people need help now and I’m just struggling to figure out how to pay bills and stay sane myself.
