An important point. A study of police in Chicago police between Jan. 2011 and Dec. 2015, “found that more than half of the officers received fewer than one complaint a year. By contrast, the worst 1 percent of officers generated about 25 percent of the complaints.” www.theroot.com/how-to-go-fr...
It’s notable that both of the killers were, with varying degrees of success, spraying irritants in bystanders’ eyes seconds before the shooting.

While glad to see Bovino humbled, I really don’t have any higher opinion of Homan—a cruel, cold, corrupt, calculating bureaucrat who’s devoted more of his career to mass deportation than almost anyone. He’s the architect of child separation.

BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

DHS is using explosives on people’s homes???

Two words: Access Hollywood.

Yes, it sure looks like we’re seeing something of a pivot from the right on this matter, because they know Trump WH is over its skis.

But unfortunately, I’m guessing any modest push back we see this week will be forgotten soon as the party falls back in line

This? This is cope. This is cope for the White House, which is watching its self lose control of its big propaganda project, and its cope for the 30-something percent of the country who still support Trump and are watching their numbers dwindle. You think they can’t see their friends change?

New DHS talking point just dropped: "freeze frame adjudication"

I think it's an acknowledgement that the "Cameras Up- Document, Document, Document" strategy is working and they know it. Video evidence in LA, Chicago and now MLPS proves time & time again that DHS lies about everything.
BASH: Why was an unarmed man shot multiple times by your Border Patrol agents?

BOVINO: Dana, you don't know he was unarmed. I don't know he was unarmed. That's freeze frame adjudication. That's why we have an investigation.

BASH: It's not a freeze frame

We all know who the real suspect is here. Jail will not be kind to this wee Himmler wannabe.
BASH: Where did he assault an officer? It looked to us that he was approached by them when he was helping another individual who was pushed down

BOVINO: We don't need a suspect's help in a law enforcement scene

BASH: So when somebody is pushed down, you stand back?

BOVINO: Follow directions

Target is HQ’d in MN & lost 35% of its value after it capitulated to Trump & gutted DEI—a $16B loss.

Now, as ICE murders Good & Pretti, as ICE arrests 2 Target employees (who were citizens)—Target does NOTHING to stop ICE.

Let’s continue our Target boycott & gut the remaining 65% value. Who’s in?

When they were pepper spraying him?

When they threw him to the ground?

When they assaulted him?

When they shot him repeatedly?
