This is what annoyed me so much about the male loneliness discourse: they truly do not believe that women are human, too.
There is nothing that an unpartnered man goes through and feels that an unpartnered woman does not. Difference is that the latter is seen as OUR problem; the former, society's.

When women get lonely we get pets and join clubs. Every lady i know is in at minimum a book club. I know hardly any dudes in a book club

as someone who has said "excuse me, sorry" to inanimate objects on multiple occasions out of a bone-deep, constant sense of shame and deference, i truly struggle to understand the psychology of people who listen to their phones on full volume without headphones in public spaces.
