Well managed to put in an application for the environmental job. Will see if they're interested in me in about a weeks time.
Even if I do get the job I wouldn't start till after the busy season in my current position.
Not going to lie, the extra £500 a month will be really good.

Obviously, no one is actually trying to force you to drink a lib-coded pumpkin-spiced transgender coffee. But, in the UK at least, most places don't have filter coffee or "black coffee" on the menu. So they will ask you if you want an Americano. I guess it's more of a stretch in the USA?

Selling my board games on FB:MP has been an actually positive experience.
Buyers aren't time wasters, it's pretty easy to tell they're genuine people when they're nerding out about games with you.
I've had some buyers not want add-ons which required lots of sorting, but overall a good experience.

I went out out last night to the best CAMRA pub in the UK (Tamworth Tap). We had a lovely time drinking beer and mead. There was a wassailing going on outside!

Well today I'm covering the front desk at work... Hardly any systems working, no phones.
One grumpy man wouldn't accept that the systems were down, like if he kept on persisting I'd give in and tell him they're actually all running fine.

Stayed up late to finish Axiom Verge last night. It was a very satisfying Metroid style experience that had cool giant robot ladies.
There's a nice mix of weapons/tools to discover (flame thrower is OP) and an interesting story to piece together through exploration.
7/10
