Had to take kidbutt for an MRI today, and he had to be sedated with ketamine because he fought the milder stuff. Seeing him connected to wires and a cannula nearly broke me. And his father wasn't there, of course.
I am completely emotionally spent. I want to cry and honestly, I just need a hug.

I love giving presents and giving people smiles, for sure. I get so much happiness from that. Yet, it's experiencing the thrill of blending holiday activities and habits that mean so much to me.

- tons of scar tissue clogging the peroneal tendon space
- tons of other shit there, too
- oh lookie, a tear in the tendon that has it looking like the pages of a book, but it's still attached at the bottom, so a hole...
