I once was in the this out-of-the-way bar and they had Shepherd's Pie. Being exhausted, I ordered it, and my god was it one of the tastiest things I'd ever had. I have tried to replicate it with little success.

I have a sensory thing with touching raw meat, so I use nitrile gloves when handling it. Makes me feel so much more at ease while prepping dinner.

Sugar cream pie is best. Apple pie is the one recipe that I developed and I know at least one person who absolutely loves it.

It's a cultish mentality, and ffs, I remember my ex's family one time complaining *en masse* that they ever voted for McGovern. It's a badge of shame here in SoDak.

And my now-ex (with whom I still live, unfortunately), upon seeing me sitting at the couch with my eyes closed the other day, after being sick last Wednesday, said, "Now what?" in the snottiest tone possible.
I wasn't even sick. Just tired.
