Keep going. No matter how bad things may seem. No matter how many tears you’ve cried. No matter how hopeless it seems. Keep going. You are worth it. You are able. We are here. We won’t let you fail. Keep going

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Sometimes, you have to step away from the shitstorm. There's a lot to take in right now, so take care of yourself first. This shit will wear you down. Don't allow it.
It's okay to let someone else carry this bucket of fucks for a day, or two.
Rest when you need to.

We fight for Mother Earth. We fight for those who cannot speak. And we fight for each other! ✊🔥

For people who voted for Trump, you need to either:

1. Admit that you voted wrong even though you thought he would help the economy

2. Admit that it was never about the price of eggs

Not only that, but much of the science community here is already stronger and larger than it was on X.

On Twitter, my feed of scientists who study climate-related topics topped out at 3300. Here, we’re at 4500 already and it’s still growing.

When the 4 Non Blondes said “And so I wake in the morning and I step outside, and I take a deep breath and I get real high
and I scream from the top of my lungs WHAT’S GOIN ON?!”

I really felt that.

Autumn olive (Elaeagnus umbellata) is near and dear to my heart. It’s plump red berries in winter and beautiful yellow blooms in spring… Yes, I love Autumn Olive even though it has a bad reputation. Read my blog for more 😉

The medical system is so incredibly broken. How do we work to collective fix it?

I resent how social media + capitalism is so reductive; we are expected to pick just ONE thing to showcase, to specialize in. My interests are AN ECOSYSTEM that support each other and thrive better when I'm free to make connections between them. Ironically ecosystems are one of my biggest interests👀

Let’s say you’ve magically procured $1 million a year, but there’s a catch:

You can’t spend it on yourself; you can only invest it in your local community to make it better.

What sorts of things would you do with the money?

When I feel hopelessness edging in, I focus (best I can) on the small things that the Natural world shows us. Those small things are actually huge gifts: lessons about community, mutualism, and how we all rely on symbiosis to survive.

I.E. this lichen teaches us how to heal our own wounds.
