It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.

Russia isn't after peace, it's after conquest.
Ukraine isn't a warmonger, it's fighting in self-defense to keep its freedom.
Obvious from the fact that Russia started the war unprovoked, and could stop anytime but doesn't. But a swath of Americans insist otherwise and keep getting egg on their face.

My opinion, based on numerous accounts in media, in writing, and in person - is that we will see a hypocritical pro-inflation market-agnostic swing in opinion the likes of which we’ve never seen before, because Trump retains some indecipherable hold on previously normal behavior.
I see we have reached the "Americans should be willing to pay a little more for Donald Trump" stage already.

It’s cool that billionaires are just buying all the media and turning it into propaganda.

Oh, so Thiel is just nuts. All these internet entrepreneurs have spent irreversible lifetimes consuming ideas and structural concepts that could only grow out of a space devoid of sense, connection, or true interaction with the real world. We are in for a damaging trip.
All I can say about this Peter Thiel op-ed in the Financial Times is that it reads like something he actually wrote. No comms team or AI chatbot is capable of producing this strange paranoid string of sentences www.ft.com/content/a46c...

i think rage at congestion pricing is a good example of how no one believes that the world can be positive sum anymore. like, people pay a small fee to get access to a faster commute — saving them valuable time — and the money improves public transit, saving other people valuable time. it's win-win!
