This article by Will Bunch @willbunch.bsky.social is a fine example.
Epstein’s emails are the end of America as they ruined it
If the evil banality of the world's most powerful people exposed in the Epstein emails doesn't cause a revolution, nothing will.

15 years later, & they still don't even have the concept of plan
THAT'S LITERALLY HOW THE SUBSIDIES & ACA EXCHANGES WORK ALREADY.

CONSUMERS ARE INFORMED BY COMPARING POLICIES ON THE ACA EXCHANGES, THEN THEY PURCHASE ONE AND THE GOVERNMENT PAYS SOME OR ALL OF THE COST OF THAT POLICY.

I'M TEARING THE LITTLE HAIR I HAVE ON MY HEAD OUT.
Cassidy: "The president is proposing that we take the $26b that would be going to insurance companies if we just do an extension and give it directly to the American people in which 100% of the money is used for them to purchase healthcare on their own terms. That makes them an informed consumer."

I try to read all the Booker winners, so I am in the middle of this year's (Flesh) right now. It's decently well-written, but if it is the last word on masculinity (total lack of interiority, driven solely by sexual impulses that cannot be explained or controlled) then masculinity is in real trouble

Now that I'm done attending Gerontology Society of America's convention: it excites me how many researchers there are looking into home and community-based services. Such important work.

So this is an extraordinarily salient point.

Without a conceptual model, very hard to go all the way.
Of course. And Trump is a fascist in his reflexes and the few beliefs he has. But there is no project, no ideology, no larger conception here that he's trying to build - which is why you still have a democracy and can keep it if you understand his limitations.
A key element of fascism is a deep hostility to reason, and there the old and new fascists seem to be on the same page.

Website with confirmed sightings of ICE in NC.
OJO Obrero (ojonc.org) is now available. This website features information about confirmed ICE operations in our state to help parents and workers get to school and work safely. OJO Obrero only features sightings that we can confirm involve federal agents, rather than crowdsourced reports

Does everyone see that the battle over "pedophile" and the battle over "genocide" are the same?

50-year old men having sex with 17-year old girls is wrong. So is mass killing of children. We don't have to insist on words to win the moral right.

Covid & having one of our two parties totally collapse into far right authoritarianism have totally broken the decades-old link between the actual material state of the economy & consumer sentiment. There is no measure of economic anything that makes 2025 worse than the GFC or the 1970s oil shocks.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

See, I'm OK with just saying, these people had sex with girls so young and vulnerable they either didn't know how to say no, or didn't know what saying yes would do to them. Men in their 50s having sex with girls in their teens is abusive, no matter whether we use words like rape or not.
