So far so good. Mostly a light crust of frozen sleet. Round 2 starts this afternoon/evening, with temps slowly moving just above freezing overnight.
Fingers crossed 🤞

About as prepped for the weekend as we can be. Not that the stores haven't been picked clean by the crazy panic shoppers already anyway.

If you're a writer, wondering why you should bother writing with the world on fire. It feels like it's not important, I need you to understand that it is.

Even if it is just because it keeps you moving forward? Even if it only brings YOU joy, that gives you energy to fight & survive.

So today turned into an impromptu fountain pen cleaning session. Could have been worse TBH.
Got out two pens I haven't used in...a while.
The Twisbi was fine, wrote on the first stroke.
The Osprey -- not so much. It had completely dried out. After a long soak all the ink dissolved and came out.

I knew you have sisface, is Keith your brother?

The absence of this feature is possibly a major reason I don't go to movies anymore.
Loud talkers and not being able to bring my own snacks and lap kitty are others.
every seat in a movie theater should have an "I have to pee" button and if enough people press it they should be able to pause the movie

Had some insight into my music process and did a bit of writing to get it out of my head.
We'll see if it still makes sense in the morning. 🤣

Just FYI for whoever might need to know this
Starting tomorrow, the Trump administration is set to send notices to 1,000 student loan borrowers (first round) noticing them of an intent to garnish their wages for student loan debt.

This is cruel and unnecessary.

If you receive a notice, send it to us and we'll try to help.
