This is Peaches. She was found as a stray with two breaks in her back leg, leaving a fragment of bone floating between the fractures and causing severe pain. She needs surgery and a plate implant for the chance to walk comfortably again. Help her below ❤️🩹

Italy has 3,000-3,500 wolves and humans coexist. Size of Italy is only around 75% of Montana. Montana:≈147,040 mi², Italy:≈116,631 mi² . Yet wolves are protected in Italy while Montana is looking to kill over 558 wolves out of their 1091 wolves.

Montana dashboard indicated on 1/21/25, 158 of our beautiful, majestic and sentient ecosystem manager wolves were harvested/killed so far. They say 73% of Montanan are not hostile toward the wolves, perhaps there is a hope?

Another female member of Junction Butte pack 1478F, a daughter of 907F was killed WMU 313 on /around 12/25/25. WMU313 was closed to hunting having reached the Quota which make this a poaching, it is under the investigation.

When I worked for NPS from 2015-2017 we were backlogged, understaffed & visitor services slammed. I can't imagine working on the inside now.
