TAAP Oathbringer Episode 2 spoilers without context:

TAAP Oathbringer Episode 1 spoilers without context:

I wonder what Glup Shitto I'm missing out on today. A very grainy screenshot from National Treasure. It shows....Sean Bean's two goons. I've forgotten their names. Clearly this means it's time to rewatch. Anyway, one of them is saying "Because it's important?" in response to Sean Bean asking why a word in their treasure quest riddle thing is capitalized. This movie is the shit and has an excellent soundtrack and I will not be accepting criticism at this time. An old portrait of Genghis Khan. He's sitting on a chair draped with a snow-leopard skin pelt, wearing gray robes and gray boots. He's wearing a black belt with gold buckles and accents. Really nice pop of color there. Did you know they're making a musical adaptation of Princess Bride? God I hope it's good, it feels like it's either gonna be excellent or TOTALLY shit the bed.

TAAP Oathbringer Episode 0 spoilers without context:
A photo of two chimpanzees in what appears to be a zoo enclosure. One of them is obscured by the other, but the one front and center is the star of the show. He has the widest eyes and is staring completely open-mouthed upward. He is absolutely delighted to be seeing whatever he's seeing. I think the photo caption said it was the sky for the first time, which is phenomenal. I have no idea why I listed "chimps seeing things" in my notes for this episode and I can't wait to find out alongside all of you. A photo of the Nether, in the game Minecraft. It's hell. It's simply hell. It looks like a big cavern made of gray and red rocks, with motes of red floating through the air and a lake of lava in the ground. Calling this a "photo" of the Nether feels weird, it's not like you can physically go there and pull out your camera to take a pic. The movie poster for a truly phenomenal film - The Iron Giant. It shows the titular Iron Giant, a big ole metal robot man with blue eyes and a smile, holding the young human protagonist whose name I absolutely know. WAIT HANG ON I don't think this is the movie poster, it might be the cover of the book?? I didn't even know it was a book but I just googled Ted Hughes (whose name is listed in teal at the top of the image) and it turns out he wrote the original book. Which makes sense as to why there are positive blurbs from both Philip Pullman and Madeleine L'Engle floating around. Was this the original cover and then the film pulled the Giant design from it? Or did they redesign the cover after the movie??? Someone tell me now I need to know A magazine cover comprised of a lot of magazine covers. It's a magazine about the Time Person of the Year, titled "TIME Person of the Year: 95 Years of the World's Most Influential People." You can see that some of the featured previous winners are Obama (totally), Mark Zuckerburg (sure), The Whistleblowers (hang on), The Endangered Earth (what), The Spirit of Ukraine (now we're just getting silly with it) and....computers?

TAAP Edgedancer Episode 3 spoilers without context:
A poster for the 2025 Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. It shows Oscar Isaac from the back (which is fine with me), standing in a large, open, Certified Spookumsroom. There's a large round window, several Sciencey Tubes along the wall, and a large pit in the center of the room. The movie's tagline is "ONLY MONSTERS PLAY GOD," which is extra enough that I'm guessing it does in fact fit the vibes since it's del Toro. A....I actually don't know how to classify this image. A thumbnail? A graphic? A powerpoint slide? It's an image. Divided roughly in half, with text on the left-hand side and a picture on the right-hand side. The text, yellow against a black background, reads: "How Tall Was Jesus?" The picture is of two different Jesuses in a slightly cartoony style, one taller and holding a yardstick while Short King Jesus looks up at him to highlight the height difference. A screenshot of a tumblr post. It's a poll, with the question being: "which would you rather find living in your attic:" and the two options are "1000 roaches" and "a person". The response post is "this is truly on god the first would you rather that i've ever had to devote significant thought to. neither of these answers feel good." RIP to tumblr user suburbanjustice who had this quandary because I have a clear answer, I'm built different A still from famed Star Wars movie "Solo: A Star Wars Story." It shows a large room in the background, with the foreground dominated by a hologram. The hologram is one the one, the only, Darth Maul. Who is super alive. And has been for over a decade by this point. Sorry for the spoilers.

TAAP Edgedancer Episode 2 spoilers without context:
A screenshot of the loading screen for an Assassin's Creed game - it looks like ACII on first blush to me. It's an off-white background with some computer-y geometry in the background. There's black text that reads "Inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed, and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs." And with that disclaimer, we can clearly see that Assassin's Creed has never been problematic. Even a little bit. For sure. A promotional image for the British quiz show Mastermind. It shows a single uncomfortable looking chair sitting on a round dais with a giant M plastered in the center of it. Harsh industrial lighting shines down form above, and otherwise it kind of looks like a void. Honestly, this looks like the music video for The Arbiter. You know, the single released from the 1984 musical Chess about the Chess Referee that they made a music video for sung by Bjorn Skifs from Blue Swede. Sometimes these alt texts are just for me. A...cover? Promotional image? Some sort of graphic design for a song. There's a yellow background with a kind of wibbly grid behind a silhouetted man and woman dancing together. The band name at the top reads MEN WITHOUT HATS, and the song is of course called THE SAFETY DANCE. There's so much random stuff happening in this image, I'm fascinated. A screenshot from the show Billy on the Street. Billy Eichner is (naturally) slightly frantic and extremely intense as he waves a dollar in someone's facing screaming "Name a woman!" The person he's talking to is appropriately flummoxed by this. Honestly if this happened to me I think I would simply burst into tears on the spot.
