Google is prominently frontloading search results with a feature which they acknowledge routinely does not provide reliable information, the one thing which everyone is relying on Google for!

Also, it seems especially telling that it promises only not to generate "harmful" factual inaccuracies

If they pretend they haven’t heard about the story of the day, end the interview right there.

“I’m sorry, Senator, we wanted to get your perspective on this story, but it seems you’re not fully aware of what’s going on.”

Also against many district policies, as AI is supposed to be the same age range as social media (13+) iirc.

Has anyone got a list of the people who attended this event? I think it should be noted who stood there.

What do we want “man” to be?

Protect? Protect what?
Provide? How?
Procreate? What do we want create reproduce in creation?

And that’s not just a child… or family… what ideas do we want to reproduce?

Any private vehicle larger than a 1990 Toyota Tacoma should require a Class C license and extra insurance due to the safety hazard a Ford F-250 represents to drivers in normal human sized vehicles. Don't want to pay it? Buy a vehicle made for humans, not hill giants

I mean the literally capability to monitor. With a personal device, I have no way of seeing what they’re up to without standing over their shoulder.

With my own child’s device, I can monitor and control a TON. With my students’ school-issued device, I can monitor and control a TON.

Hard disagree. I teach how to use the school-issued Chromebooks, because I have the tools (including monitoring systems and tech-specific expertise) to do so.

With a parent-provided device, it’s the parents with the tools, and therefore the parents’ job.
