This is a good read, especially for those of us teaching and grading in post secondary schools. I meet with students to talk about their understanding of material if I question the source. Many have been forced to erase their own voice in writing in favour of a British colonial “standard”.

I encourage my students to ask “who benefits and who is made more vulnerable” a lot. In this, it is clear, a few very rich people and companies benefit. The rest of us - aka the most of us- are being made more vulnerable whether we realize it or not.
