Jaime Lewis was an amazing DOTI Advisory Board member. Former Mayor of Salida, Colorado, former RTD Director, and Disability Rights Advocate. We are going to miss his voice on the board.
A scuttled road diet for Alameda Avenue has caused discontent within the advisory board for the city’s transportation department — including one resignation, with more possible.

Several advisory board members say they're increasingly concerned about the transportation department’s commitment to safety.

A very disturbing video has emerged from today’s ICE/CBP operations in Avondale.

An officer pushes a woman to the ground, prompting bystanders to react angrily and throw what appears to be a rock at a moving unmarked vehicle.

This seems to be the new normal in Chicago.
