That's so true, especially in leading roles. It's easy to find programmers, but it's really hard to find problem solvers. And I'm not talking about solving algorithms when I say "solving problems". I'm talking about solving real life problems, and turning them into automated software.
Coding is just one of your skills

Your real job is solving problems, and coding is just one way to get there

Take the time to deeply understand the problem you’re addressing

When you truly understand the problem, your work will have a far greater impact

Absolutely, humans have passion for everything they are good at or for everything that they have an unfair competitive adavntage at. So you either are naturally talented at something, or you work hard to get that competitive advantage.
"Find your passion" is BS advice

Try to be useful to people

People who you find interesting

Do it every day

Passion follows Practice

2 of the best use cases of AI in coding are testing and error handling. Claude Sonnet nails both, expect when there is a lot of code modularity. In that case you need to feed it with some comprehensive examples. That always work in my experience.

What's your AI favorite use case?

My safe haven have been the library for the past 47 years.

It saddens me that books are being cencored or banned.
Books are a reflection of their time. Knowledge is not harmful, suppressing free speech or history is.

Luckily this is not the case in 🇫🇮

Pro Tip 🫴: If you are using AI for coding, try splitting your project into micro tasks and start feeding them to claude sonnet.

This way you keep full control over the code of your project, and Claude will one-shot the tasks like there is no tomorrow.

200k #bitcoin incoming?

Still people thinking that bitcoin isn't here to stay. I think they have been burned so hard by crypto scams, that they can not see the value of the tech there anymore. Can't blame them
Bitcoin reached a new ATH last night, and not just any milestone: it broke past the $100k mark 📈

This is a historic and deeply symbolic moment. 🚀

The question now is, where will it go from here? 👀

AI has drastically changed protoyping and MVPs landscape.
Before the quickest way was to go with no-code tools (zapier, bubble)
Now you can go for enterprise-level, fully custom code.
Thus drastically reducing technical debt and increasing scalability.
And it will more or less take the same time

Do you enjoy tinkering with @vite.dev, @vuejs.org, @nuxt.com, @vueuse.org, @unocss.dev, @shiki.style, the @bsky.app API? Would you like to help us?

even if AI frees up some of educators' time, there is no way that that would just remain freed up time.

see also: reducing departmental staff with the advent of word processing and online travel booking.

now faculty do a lot of their own admin work that earlier generations had support for.
