I have a similar experience with Lilith. She fears sex because she believes she would corrupt someone irrevocably, and has spent millennia convincing herself she isn't worthy of love. The biggest challenge for me as a writer is proving her wrong in the right way??

Well it started out as him not liking his full name, but his father insisted on using it so now just straight up hates it. Every time he put together a fake identity (~800 year lifespan for my weres) he chose the name Rudy, despite the fact that he knows it's a fake ID flag risk lol

Lilith chose a few human aliases to try to blend in with the mortal world. Her current human alias is "Morgan Reed".

To be honest I think the best bit of advice I ever got for writing is "it's not about the destination; the goal is the journey." I've never been prouder of my work, nor has my imposter syndrome EVER been this strong. 🤣

Maybe that'll be my little Christmas gift to myself <3
