Don't get me wrong, I'm here for the Ghibli films where things DO happen, it's just that that's maybe every third film they make if you're lucky.

Has the game actually played the game? Every third cutscene revolves around giving her a pep talk.

It was a fluke that he was the first up; I think the order was random. But it taught me one of the few lessons I actually kept from university: if lots of people have to present something, send the worst one out sacrificially. Everything else will look and feel like a masterpiece by comparison.

I lived with him for a long, long year, coincidentally; he was so dumb, so gormless, so proudly and defiantly did he stand in the face of basic competence that, on a film course, it did not occur to him that his dissertation had to relate to film, which was pretty par for the course with him.

There were some good ones and bad ones, as you might expect, but none were as catastrophic as that. By comparison to his it was as though a professional design firm had made them all.

The presentations had to be extremely visual with on-screen text kept to a minimum; 20 slides, 20 seconds each. So what did the first person up do? Dense paragraphs that bled into the background, drowned out by God awful folk music as he mumbled 'th- here, the, um, you, and there's uh... yeah. Heh'
