Anyone here concerned about making sure the best information at the time gets posted and shared about climate change / how ordinary people can be more green with what they have, right where they are? Consider joining a group, or adding me to one you've already set up.

Brexit is a more likely cause. Costs for servicing, spares, etc rocketing.

Also, the state of England roads has been in the headlines. Some Scottish rural roads are like playing dodgems with the potholes.

The CON strategy to fix the (same) potholes every 6 weeks is not enough.

More than 200 vehicles were marooned on Stainmore, Westmorland, yesterday, as blizzards virtually isolated Scotland from England. Many of the drivers abandoned their cars and lorries, and spent the night in a moorland cafe.

Hmm... Wonder if any of them will stop the direct debits which fund Far-Rage's foreign excursions...

Insulting his bread and butter donors, guess now he's be Musked, he doesn't need to keep up appearances.
Farage is whipping up his pals on GB News to turn on Yaxley-Lennon-Robinson.

“Tommy Robinson’s EDL were mindless thugs.”

Bit fed up of us going on right wing shows to be constantly parroted "NHS is a black hole, no money is ever enough etc"

I'll tell you why that seems to be the case. It's because for YEARS now due to austerity, the NHS has had to be not just a health service, but a social service and welfare one too

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky

“Visit a heat pump” - I LOVE this idea. I expect that the greatest champions of clean energy are the people who live with the tech.

Next editions could be “have a spin in my E-bike”, “look at my PV app!!” and “come for a drive in my EV”.
My team @nestauk.bsky.social has designed and delivered Visit a Heat Pump, a UK-wide service to help people see a heat pump near them and learn first hand about what it's like to live with one.

6 months in we’re sharing what we’ve learnt: www.nesta.org.uk/report/seein...

Stellar news! Moment Energy, will take used EV batteries & make grid-scale energy storage batteries via a new gigawatt factory.

Moment Energy plans to produce up to 1 gigawatt-hour of storage products there each year, easily making the facility the largest of its kind in the U.S.

Committing / allowing less FRAUD will go a long way to plugging holes the CONs fug imho.

The difference: Labour seems willing to learn, rather than seek to personally profit.

Capping MP expenses and removing the right for them to bill taxpayers for their energy costs would be good imho
