I got my mom's cowl off the blocking board and tested it out. It's long enough to pull up as a hood, or slouch it as a cowl.. you can even double it up as a turtleneck. 100% superfine baby alpaca DK weight yarn on US6 needles. Linen stitch only.

Does anyone in our Bluesky #fiberarts community know any good tutorials for felting over mending on fine knit sweaters? I know it's POSSIBLE, I'm just not too confident in the Google machine these days, and while I think I did a pretty decent job, I want extra strength for my repairs.

So it's not freezing here or anything, but in Louisiana if it dips below 60 people are grabbing parkas. At least it's not super gloomy here, though. Sorry about the cold and wet where you are.
