Okay, guys. Time for bed. We've had a long day of fighting fascism. Let's get some shut-eye so we can keep it going in our daily lives.

Hamlet is already way ahead of me. Time to catch up.
We had a lot of fun in Baton Rouge celebrating the America we want to build. Free of fascism, fair for all.
Thank you and your mom! I'm so glad to see people turn out in smaller towns. There's this unspoken assumption that everyone in a small town is bloody red conservative.

I might live in a city now, but I'm from the country. Rural poverty is no joke, & Trump is making it worse.
Holy crap! What a crowd!

You guys are amazing 🤩
No, thank you and your neighbors for showing up for democracy. Others in your community now know they're not alone. And that's a wonderful thing.
I also want a national database of bad cops.
Small town protesters showing up. This grows the community by making those unexpected connections. You might not have guessed that Jimmy who fixes diesel engines or Alice who does Grandma's hair doesn't like what the Administration is doing. But now you do. Build on that.
#NoKingsSmallTowns
Our little town in Puget Sound WA drew 800 humans and at least 30 dogs. Take THAT dog killer Noem.
Pretty red. At least a few hundred, I think. But many more driving past and honking, waving, that kind of thing. It was really great to see everyone come out like that. There were 11 cities that had events, and some that weren't official.
Also with my full chest:

If you don't want to get called a Nazi, don't do Nazi shit.
A new friend with better googlefu than I have was able to get their digital hands on this one!
Bravery in the face of bullies.

Small town hero, Kendra Sullivan.
Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
Absolute peak #NoKings.

You guys rock. Solidarity with you all.

BTW, I know recovery after storms is hard. If you know of any local and indigenous organizations that need help, please let me know. My megaphone is small, but I will use it. And try to contribute if I can.
And by tiny sample size, I mean small towns. A small town probably has the same percentage of pro-democracy residents as a city. Sometimes more.
In a tiny sample size, definitely. It's unfortunate that the big crowds are getting ALL the press, for sure.
The thing about these is that they form CONNECTION. We are isolated from our neighbors in ways we never have been before. This shatters the bubble and gets us together. It's amazing.
All protesters are important. The ones in the small towns are the ones that get forgotten, though. They deserve to know they are just as crucial to this movement as anyone else.
Awesome! You're the best!
More small town patriots showing up for their neighbors and for democracy.

Keep it up, guys. That you turned out shows those that couldn't they're not alone.
Tiny Torrington, CT doubled its June 14 #NoKings turnout to 2000+ patriots at #NoKings2 @indivisible.org today! (The park was full - photos don’t do the crowd justice.) So many fabulous anti-fascists showed up to #FreeAmerica from this corrupt tyrant and his hideous regime #LoveAmerica #Grantifa
What sort of plant is it, if you don't mind my asking?
Boo.
Fucking.
Hoo.

Is anyone supposed to welcome the Stazy when they roll into town to abduct our neighbors? To smile while they do this?

If they don't like living in a free society, they should move to Russia, where they would feel more at home.
