I'll build the website. It'll be folksy yet polished
It's not too late for the left to run someone who doesn't have nazi tattoos against Mills. I will cut the candidate introduction video for them if you want. I've got lens flare transitions and everything, it can look like Platner's if you need it to.

I just wrote an in-the-weeds blog post about a program I helped run in IL where we won 80% of the races we worked in. We supported candidates for municipal offices like school and library boards, park districts, city councils, and mayors.

I wrote a blog for my friends at @arenasummit.bsky.social about the work I did with the Democratic Party of Illinois during the municipal elections earlier this month, where we won 80% of our targeted races across the state.

A lot of people are annoyed with national Dem leaders right now (trust me, people who work on campaigns are more annoyed than anyone), but we can have a huge impact helping people at a local level. Be like Bob! Run for office! Support someone you like in your neighborhood!
Back in the W administration I got fed up worrying about the feds. I started working with locals. Knocked on doors for locals, elected to a position in 2018. Has never felt more important to be engaged than right now.

I'm working on a deeper writeup of this now, but I think one of my biggest takeaways is to get involved at the local level and help elect good people. They don't have to agree with you on every issue, but they at least have to be willing to listen and learn

I can't let Wisconsin lose to Minnesota, and I felt left out of the Dome War, so adding $50 - $.01 for each star hand-painted on the world's largest mechanical globe planetarium in the Northwoods of Wisconsin @hollyanderson.bsky.social @edsbs.bsky.social @newap-georgia.bsky.social

The story of my entire career has been turning "one quick question" into getting invited to a Slack channel to help volunteer on a cool thing. I'm always down to help a good cause!
SINGING AN UNSUNG HERO: please welcome @ajkahle.bsky.social, who fielded “one quick question” from me that turned out to be a stupid amount of work making sure Operation Water Feature wouldn’t collapse on the launchpad. $100 to Wisconsin 🦡

Donated $.10 (plus fees) for every rushing yard for the 2005 Wisconsin Badgers (Barry Alvarez's last year coaching) because we need to RETURN TO REAL WISCONSIN FOOTBALL

Yesterday I rode up a chair lift with a Trump supporter in UT who didn't believe me when I said Trump/Elon cut cancer research. He said that he heard Elon was cutting unnecessary things like "$20m to send Sesame Street to Iraq" ???
ICYMI (especially if you work in Democratic politics):

Cutting cancer research is one of the things Americans are most worried about.

And one of the things they’ve heard the least about. According to polls from @navigatorsurvey.bsky.social:

This, plus the people who are paying attention/will remember are the base voters who are paying attention and are going to be pissed enough to not donate/volunteer
arguments over who would get blamed for a shutdown are insane. the median voter has no idea this is happening. the median voter knows one fact about politics and it’s that Donald Trump is the President

Local radio station is doing "album sides Thanksgiving", which should be a year-round thing. We're on side A of Damn The Torpedoes right now and yeah, the first 3 are hits, but even the album tracks rock
