More recently, my art has taken a new direction, utilizing anatomical structures from microCT and different maker technologies to create recognizably biological abstract pieces. I like playing with light and new materials like #3DPrinting. 4/6

Oh hi new followers! Welcome! I'd be curious to hear where you're all coming from. I'm not super active at the moment - focusing on IRL stuff for myself - but I'm around. I'm working on a project that is a little different from my norm, but I'll share it when it's more complete, so that's coming.

There are people who think they are strong because they close themselves off from empathy, when in reality they are afraid to be vulnerable and they are letting their fear win.

Leaving FB will be fairly easy for me. I think it's mostly just given the illusion of connectedness for a while. Instagram, however, will be harder. What are people using as alternatives? Is Cara good?

I've been very much focusing on making things lately - it's been good for my mental health. Been sewing and #mending lately for a bit of something different. My current works in progress are some elbow patches on a chambray shirt and a dress I'm #upcycling to a duster/surcoat!

Playing around with water soluble PVA support for the first time! At this point I'm not wowed by it, but maybe I'll feel different once I clean all the supports off. #3Dprinting

Differential performance of aqueous‐ and ethylic‐Lugol's iodine stain to visualize anatomy in μCT‐scanned vertebrates
We compared the performance of two common diceCT scan stains, ethylic-Lugol's iodine solution with aqueous-Lugol's, across several vertebrate orders to assess differential imaging outcomes. We found ...

@itgrrl.com Using clearsky, I saw I was on your solarpunk list. It made me so happy! I really vibe with solarpunk, but I'm still figuring out what that looks like - it's a bit nebulous. If solarpunk comes through in my content and art, then I consider that a win. Thank you!

A reintroduction thread is coming. One problem I have with social media is that if I can't take the time to really edit and consider my posts, then I generally feel it's best not to post. As a result, I don't post much, and what I do takes more time than I'd like.
