I do think more people should appreciate that Sarah has to be selective about when she draws attention to her identity given the obsessive focus on it by some of her colleagues--she is in a uniquely impossible position. But it also makes it more impactful when she does.

That is patently false: not only do immigrants score better than native-born Americans in tests, the mere presence of immigrants improve test scores for all students, when factoring in white flight

The ICAO is who you need to lobby if you want to remove gender from all passports altogether, which is why American trans activists have largely focused on the ability to update/change your gender marker
In somewhat good news, today the state department website has changed the answer to this question to defer to ICAO policy. Sources still tell me that there is some appetite for invalidation/reversion of passports issued under the injunction, but this message will be welcome to many trans people.

just bc there are no trans athletes currently in the nwsl, does not mean none belong there. just bc we have African players who are extremely talented and accomplished, does not mean that they don’t deserve respect and humanity if they weren’t top of the league. also, i’m bored bored BORED of this.
