it's weird because these stores actually completely illegal despite many of them being open here. people on the street were saying it was some kinda rival/organized crime thing. but i don't know.

i mean, it's obviously bad in the short term and should be banned and all that. but it does give me a lot of hope to see that developments in the productive forces could seriously be beginning to undermine capitalism's strongest arguments in serious ways.

most of the details of the calculation debate are above my head, but like, if market prices are supposed to be the signal that allows for the allocation of scarce goods to where they can produce the most value, surveillance/surge pricing are simply about extracting the most value from everyone.
