Really good piece by Adam on what a lot of us deal with covering from out of market. He's not THE person I was talking about yesterday, but one of them to be sure.
Doing this from a distance is a tough ask.
We don’t get the access, opportunities and oftentimes respect that those in market do. But, we’re doing a very similar job, while making just as many sacrifices.
Closed circles within the media are blind to happen. Still, that doesn’t make it (1)

Was talking with a coworker today about the challenges of covering a team out of market today. A lot of folks with in-person access don't realize how hard it is to do this job without the ability to build relationships with face-to face interaction, but for many of us, that's what we work with. (+)
