Working in mental health can be so rewarding, but some days are just really hard.
Look after yourselves everyone, it's a tough time of year for many - including us practitioners!

We've not had many new psychosis interventions since the 1950s, so this discussion relating to a new piloted approach is pretty interesting (when listened to with a cautious ear, of course).

Those of us who work with #mentalhealth often overlook our own mental health.

As a man with a diagnosis #depression, I know that today is going to be a hard day.

If you're battling difficulties today - you are not alone. Be kind to yourselves. Help is out there, and we care. #mentalhealthmatters

Fantastic talk about the power of hope in occupational therapy practice at the #OTshow today.

Inspiring and positive messages in stark contrast to the doom and gloom of under-resourcing and waiting lists!

Thank you all for the kind messages following my graduation. Here's some snaps from the day, with a silly hat that makes me look bald. #occupationaltherapy #occupationaltherapist #graduation

Despite working for some time as a registered OT, tomorrow I will finally graduate with a First Class Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy with Endeavour Award.

I barely passed school, struggled with finances and mental health problems - but I made it.

Onwards!
