Why build things close to each other. It's not like the City is pretending to achieve a modal shift, climate changes goals, or Vision Zero.

Lights and paint are soft infrastructure. They do nothing to keep those who don't care about traffic laws from breaking them.

Soft enforcement, like phot radar, would at least generate some money to fund hard infrastructure or enforcement.

* Negotiating backroom deals on pipelines with Alberta and without BC or Indigenous folks.
* Undermining anti-greenwashing laws.
* Making deals with the UAE despite their role in Sudan.
* Cutting funding for infectious disease work in Africa.

Make sure to mention that, although enforcement is vital in road safety, it's just a stop gap until proper no compromises, Always Available All Ages and Abilities (5A) infrastructure is built.
