The ICE agent videotaped himself committing a homicide.

The FBI must have this footage. And they are blocking local law enforcement from obtaining it.

People are slamming Walz for this, but he's not wrong. If the state doesn't have access to the physical evidence or witnesses, if would "be very difficult if not impossible" to conduct an investigation. 1/
Q: Is there anything stopping state law enforcement from conducted an independent investigation even if the feds don't want it?

JACOBSON: Without assistance from the FBI, we would be at a loss to be able to initiate & conduct a thorough investigation. It would be very difficult if not impossible

We filed two motions to block the Trump administration's attacks on Head Start, a federally-funded program that provides early education and care to young children — and won.

This program provides critical services to families across the country, and we'll always fight to defend it.

The entire federal response towards ICE's execution of Renee Nicole Good is to surgically make sure that Minnesotans *cannot* stop George Floyd from happen again
Note: This move not only cuts out state access, but it undermines one of the most concrete changes that came out of George Floyd's killing here in Minneapolis in 2020, which is the BCA Force Investigations Unit, created to restore trust in investigations when law enforcement kills civilians.

Setting aside the long term viability of that strategy, at what point do you start to sound insane when people are watching armed government gangsters running wild every day and the local candidate is smiling into the camera and talking about groceries
Recent statements from political strategists and Democratic Party insiders seem to suggest that the party’s strategy for the 2026 midterm races — particularly in hotly contested swing districts — will be to focus on economic concerns rather than on holding President Donald Trump accountable.

I worked at a healthcare facility last July - I told them I wouldn't go back as the ventilation was so poor (the dip was me going outside for a break).

So they've increased the fresh air intake, put 2 HEPA filters in the rooms and the staff are wearing N95s

We'll get there 😷👍
