My rescue dog Gunner is much cuter than me.

You may know me as Nefarius. He/him
Thanks! Figured it had been a while but I’m surprised by that 20-21 instance.

I guess I’ve memory-holed that season, for obvious reasons.

You forgot Spaceballs.

You're incredibly correct.

A few seasons ago, it could have been a Lamela-Romero double red situation.

If it were to happen now, Richarlison would be involved somehow. Maybe as the guy who gets hitting for chirping back at a teammate.

If he wasn’t American, he wouldn’t even be a footnote in hockey history.

His nationality made him more relevant than he should have been.

the specifics of how to police it, how to sanction it, etc. are difficult to sort out.

but there has to be some way to stop our elected officials from misleading the american people with demonstrably incorrect statements.

Last year, Arsenal were 2nd in average shot distance - 15.1 yards. Brentford were first at 14.9.

So far this year, Arsenal are tied for first with Brentford at 15.3.

The increase in shots per 90 has not come at much of a cost in terms of distance from goal.

As a team, Arsenal take 14.75 shots per 90, second-most in the Premier League. Liverpool are first with 15.25, Chelsea third with 14.33.

Last season, Arsenal finished the campaign 5th in that metric, on 14.32 shots per 90.

So far this season, Bukayo Saka is taking 2.22 shots per 90, 28th-most.

Viktor Gyokeres is at 2.14, 31st-most, and Leandro Trossard comes in at 41st with 2.00.
November 24, 2025 at 2:03 PM
Last season, Bukayo Saka fired 3.44 shots per 90, 8th-most in the PL. That was two spots behind Eze and one ahead of Haaland.

You have to go down to 33rd and 34th to find the next Arsenal names on the list, Leo Trossard and Kai Havertz (2.55 and 2.44 sh/90).

Yeah, after I hit send I realized that changing the metric might change the players at the top of the list. I’d only looked at individual fbref pages for those three guys.

Never stat before coffee.

That 3.18 number for Eze is at Arsenal only. In the 83 minutes he played for Palace to open the season, he averaged 6.51 shots per 90.
