I know it's meant in good faith but "if we just made smaller scope games and charged 20-40 dollars for them it would fix the industry" is very funny to me. indies release like 20 of those a week on steam. are you buying them? is the industry fixed? no? hm. sounds like you need a different solution

Me literally every time I go to the Blender manual, except more like half a page at best describing only the existence of a feature and no screenshots. Also honorable mention to the Blender UI tooltips, 99% of which are some form of "label is label".

I cannot describe the level of dread and horror this instills in me. Sitting here actually nauseous wondering how I can ever reasonably trust that I won't be permanently disabled or killed in a routine surgery because shareholder value was more important.

TL;DR Unity -> Godot transition: after 13 years in unity, it took me 4-6 weeks of getting adjusted, and now i’ll never go back. it has quirks, like other engines. there’s bugs. but it’s free, basically equally capable, and well reported issues get fixed quicker than in unity (sometimes within hours)
