oh i'm not one of the people bummed about chomsky. i saw value in some things he said but i'm also not surprised by any of this. he sometimes seemed to miss what i thought were important points, but i chalked it up to Academic Brain. now it makes more sense.

and that really sucks about the 'low footprint' tax. don't they get more up front bc those cars are typically more expensive, and will they base the tax on your mileage?
