I loved #pillion. I felt it was accurate & nuanced storytelling of a relationship dynamic not easily understood & often portrayed solely as abusive. Seeing it in theaters with a mixed yet heavily queer crowd was a great experience. The gay gasps. And the blonde lady next to me covering her eyes.

lol actually I, Medusa was my fourth book this year. I somehow already forgot that I’d finished Stephen King’s Never Flinch and Long Island by Cool Tóibín. Both excellent. #booksky
Second book of the year finished: “I, Medusa” - an origin story. Had more of a YA feel than I was expecting yet still an enjoyable tale. A handful of things should’ve been caught by the editor to fine tune yet not terribly distracting. #booksky
