oh and also: I've played three classes at competitive events in 2025 (wizard, runeblade, illusionist), I'd like to add two more to that - mechanologist in CC and one of assassin/ninja/ranger/guardian in SAGE, probably

so I look forward to seeing what LSS have cooked up for us in a week's time

Metagame talk: I think CC would be fine, good even, if there weren't any bans, so I agree with the thoughts about where the format is currently. However, I've been very satisfied with how LSS has been willing to use the BnR to refresh formats during my time playing FaB

Compendium/limited talk: As a limited enjoyer I'm very hyped for these announcements, happy to hear non-draftable sets aren't going to be too regular of a thing

(Still hyped for PEN! Supplemental sets up some good design space for them, just not something we need more than occasionally imo)

Super slam talk: I don't go here because I kind of didn't engage with the set all that much, due to being perhaps the two classes I am least interested in

Sage talk: no notes, super glad that LSS doesn't see community voting as a balance tool (although I am unsurprised, given their comments on the LL system previously)

LL talk: eternal weekend sounds fun, glad I'll get to play Living Legend still and that LSS is going to keep supporting it.
