Leafs outshooting the one of the best teams in the league 20-8 and 14-4 in the second. Don’t need this effort every night but 7 or 8 times out of every 10 games and they’d cruise to the playoffs. The problem is they’re only getting it once or twice every 10 games right now.

@jasonchen16.bsky.social @snmichaelamato.bsky.social I don’t know if I’m more upset with Vejmelka giving up 4 or the Penguins for only shooting 16 times.

I’ve been advocating for over a year the NYR are a fraudulent squad. Goaltending, power play success, and above average play from mediocre players has inflated their perceived quality of play.

Sabres could have overpaid / traded for a couple of these players instead of handing Krebs 1.45 & keeping Jokiharju @ 3.1. they are too small & young.

Can’t believe I saw Quinn Hughes play his final game for the Canucks. Incredible performance. Great fans in Vancouver. Intellectual hockey conversation?

Every sports journalist is required to use the word massive in every story, audio hit, pod, and tv appearance. Enough already and figure out a different way to describe a situation as “interesting” while you’re at it.

@snmichaelamato.bsky.social @jasonchen16.bsky.social I’m thinking of swapping Morgan Reilly out for Ghost. He’s come back from ir and nobody has snagged him yet. Reilly blocks shots and shoots but I don’t see him getting back on pp1 barring an injury to OEL. What do you think?

@snmichaelamato.bsky.social @jasonchen16.bsky.social I think we’ve seen enough of Ehlers in Carolina to drop him. Not shooting and not adding any peripherals. Ice time plummeting. Available options are Barbashev, Svech, Kuzmenko, Blake, Iafallo, Boeser, Terry, KJ, Doan

Thoughts?
