I don’t talk about it much because the situation doesn’t really change but it’s still insane to me what an enormous amount of really talented game developers are out of work. just whole studios worth of incredible people, often people who worked on beloved games, unemployed.

Tactical Breach Wizards mention!
Played it earlier this year, had a blast. 10/10 story, characters, gameplay, none of the classic XCOM frustration. If you love tactics games, it's a must buy.
And 20/10 writing! Traffic Warlock Steve might be the hardest I've laughed at a game in years, iykyk.

tactical breach wizards main character is a navy seer who can see one second into the future. this means when a turn goes bad, you can rewind cause it was just his prediction of how it would play out.
this removes a ton of the frustration, and paired with funny, human writing, A+ game total gold
